This Undiscovered city offers a marvellous blend of the old and the new. It is the world's leading diamond cutting and dealing city. Antwerp is the 2nd largest city in Belgium and the largest in Flanders. Visit Antwerp's cafes in the Groenplaats, Market Square and Suikerrui. Cobbled streets and market places abound with medieval churches and handsome guild houses lead onto a shopper's paradise known as 'The Golden Mile'. Eating out is a way of life for the inhabitants of Antwerp and they will happily spend the whole evening over their meal.
