Karel de Stoute Reviews...

"Warm and Friendly"
This hotel is solely run by a young couple so you are assured of their full attention at all times, as there are just five rooms in total. It has traditional wooden fittings throughout, lobby included, the bedrooms large and well-equipped. We were impressed by the general attention to detail at this very pleasant house and would recommend it to anyone. The Square was just 5 minutes away, the rail station was within walking distance too. Jane Marsh. Bermondsey.

"A lovely place"
Stayed here for three nights at the end of September. It was easy to find from the rail station and on arrival we were welcomed by Winke, the owner and checked in to a double room. The beds were really comfortable, the room was incredibly quiet, with a great shower, important for me. Breakfasts were wonderful with orange juice freshly squeezed as you sat down, a choice of breads and pastries with meats cheese and jams, and a choice of eggs.  The hotel bar is a very intimate affair, which was opened by Winke specially for us.
