Hotel Ampere, Champs Elysees, Paris
Situated in the exclusive Champs Elysees of Paris, the Ampere is close to l’Arc de Triomphe as well as many other sites of interest. There are 100 rooms in total, some with a balcony or a terrace. All rooms are equipped with TV, radio, phone, safe, minibar and offer room service. There is a fine restaurant, Le Jardin d'Ampère, overlooking an internal garden, which is opened up in the summer. A roof terrace allows visitors to have views of Paris.

We were looking for a cenrally located hotel, and we chose the Ampere as a trade-off between price and location. We were not disappointed, it really was convenient for the Metro, (not that we needed it) which is nice when you are arriving late on a Friday, and was also handy for the shops in the area, which, it has to be said, were pretty pricey.
