Hotel Academie, Bruges
The Hotel Academie is situated in the golden tourist triangle of Bruges and only 50 metres away from the famous ‘Lake of Love' and the ‘Beguinage / Convent'. The complex, originally an old brewery, was converted into a 4-star hotel about 10 years ago. All rooms are en-suite and have a television and direct dial telephone, and downstairs there is a lounge, a large reception area, an atmospheric bar and an outside garden terrace with a carp pond. It has its own restaurant that seats up to 120 people as well as the many others in the vicinity.

"Satisfactory"
The academie has a very convenient location in the centre of Bruges, and overal I was happy with the hotel. I was however a liitle sceptical as to whether it can be classed as a four star hotel, but the price I booked it at was pretty cheap, so who am I to complain! Jonny. Uxbridge.
