28 September 2007 I took a weekend in Brussels by Eurostar last month to have a brief rest before Xmas. Now that the fast link is in, the journey to Brussels seems very short so I was able to totally relax. Phillip Sage

12 December 2006 I took my girlfriend to Paris three weeks ago as a birthday present. It was the first time both she and I had been on the train and I have to say it was better than I had expected - seriously quick, convenient, stress free and without any hold-ups at either end. We had opted for a hotel close to Gare de Nord but next time we may go more central as the journey is so good and we wanted to be closer to the Louvre David Williams
