A new boutique eco luxury hotel has been opened in the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela, the first in the region. Built on the site of an 18th century paper factory, A Quinta da Auga Spa offers a fusion of various types of western aromatherapy and hydrotherapy, and of eastern manual therapies.

The hotel has 45 individually designed bedrooms with a superb restaurant, the Filigrana, which serves traditional Galician food.
