You can book a flight to Riga with BA but you have to go via Helsinki.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

KLM is the best option if you are flying from the regions of the UK. It has a departure point in every UK airport and despite going via Amsterdam Schipol Airport, is likely to be the cheapest option too, especially when you factor in the driving and parking at the airport.

Currently Easyjet only fly to Riga from Berlin, but they are adding routes all the time so perhaps its worth a check.

Ryanair

You can now fly to Riga from Stansted, East Midlands, Bristol, Liverpool, Dublin, Shannon, Glasgow, Milan, Frankfurt and Bremen.

Air Baltic

Quite a unique entity; a state-owned low cost airline. Air Baltic now has routes all over Europe, east and west, that enable you to fly direct to the Latvin Capital. In the UK you can fly from London Stansted and Dublin from the Republic of Ireland.
