What do you love about Europe?
I love that when you travel from one neighbouring country to another, there is such great differences of personality. It’s constantly enriching to meet with businessmen who often have very different approaches to the financial side of life.

Favourite hotel?
My favourite hotel has to be the Dorchester in London – what I like most is its undeniable “British” style and its majestic, grandiose ambiance.

Worst Hotel?

Favourite city?
London

My favourite beach is Cap Ferret in France – the beaches are vast and sprawling and it’s a very calm, tranquil spot.

Favourite restaurant?
My favourite restaurant is definitely the Dutournier in Paris – the head chef there is excellent and, like me, he is a big fan of Spanish bullfighting and rugby!

What do you never leave Europe without?
I never leave Europe without my camera, for these very reasons.

Private jet – it’s faster and means that I am not exhausted by the time I arrive in the country of destination.

When we were leaving Rome airport, the plane engine broke down 15 minutes after take off!

Always arrive on time – it’s the least you can do.
