Walwyck Hotel Reviews...

I spent two nights at the Walwyck Hotel on a press trip while making a video about Bruges. Situated on a quiet, cobbled side street next to a canal, the Walwyck certainly looks Idyllic from the outside, and I was not disappointed when I walked through its doors either. It has a minimalist, modern style with a small reception area giving it a somewhat intimate feel. There were two sets of stairs, one which looked like the buildings’ original set and another, very steep staircase which led to a level just above the reception area. I was taken aback by how steep they were and would imagine older guests may find them uncomfortable as they didn’t have much of a hand rail and they were quite high.
The room itself employed a simple understated style, which was comfortable with a separate shower room and WC, no bath. There was an easy to use free Wi-Fi, which I always demand from a tourist standard hotel, and very little noise from the roadside.
Service was helpful, friendly and informative.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and as much as you could eat before a day sightseeing this romantic city.
