I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Terrass last year with my girlfriend for her birthday present. We were really happy with it as it was right in the Montmartre area, and still close to the Abbesses metro station, which was really convenient for getting around Paris. The staff at the hotel remembered to place a bottle of champagne in the room as requested, which was really nice of them.

If you want some time in Paris that includes the Moulin Rouge, choose this hotel. Its walking distance and its the only 4 star hotel that's so close.

The great thing about the Terrass is the terrace bar in the summer time, where you can enjoy a drink and / or a dinner with majestic views over Paris. I found the rooms small but I would definitely stay in the Terrass again.
