As we were visiting Paris for the first time, we wanted to be in the centre and I feel we made the right choice with this hotel. It was perfectly located for virtually all the sites, the Madeleine in particular, and the louvre where we spent a whole day. The receptionist was on the chillingly distant side, but the rest was fine.
