La Mare Wine Estate
Established in 1969 in the grounds of an attractive 18th century Jersey granite farmhouse, these vineyards are the first to be planted on the island in recent times. It has recently undergone a £1.3m investment programme, the results of which can be seen on a visit. It also has a restaurant & tearooms, a new shop, and a chocolate factory. Mont Orgueil Castle – Gorey Pier, St Martin.
A medieval fortress which dominates the east coast of Jersey. Has protected the islandsers since the days of King John in the 13th century. www.jerseyheritagetrust.org
Elizabeth Castle – St Aubin’s Bay
Walk across S. Aubin’s Bay at low tide or take the DUKW ferry service which operates from West Park slipway. The castle was named after Queen Elizabeth 1st by Sir Walter Raleigh when he was Governor of the Isalnd. www.jerseyheritagetrust.org

Maritime Museum – St. Helier

Occupation Tapestry Gallery – St Helier
Opened for the first time in 1996 this converted 19th century warehouse on the New North Quay adjacent to Liberation Square is the home of the highly acclaimed Occupation Tapestry. There is also an art exhibition and a shop.
La Hougue Bie – La Route de la Hogue

Hamptonne Country Life Museum – St. Lawrence

Durrel – Trinity
