TGV Lyria Trains Between Paris and Switzerland

The TGV Lyria takes you right into Switzerland, the Alps with their ski fields and some of the most stunning scenery you can ever see through a train window. Access the cities of Valais, Geneva, Montreux, Neuchatel, Bern, Luzern, Basel and Zurich from Paris Gare de l’Est which is just a five minute’s walk from Gard du Nord.

In December 2011 a new line will connect Basel and Zurich which means you will be able to jump on a high speed TGV Lyria at Zurich to reach Paris without changing trains at all. There will be six daily services with journey times reduced by more than 30 minutes each way. Basel can be reached from Paris in just 3 hours and 3 minutes, while the time from Zurich to Paris is 4 hours and 3 minutes.

The new Lyria Premiere service, with at-your-seat food service at all times of the day, free newspapers and magazines and a service manager at your disposal.
