What is and Alaris train?

Alaris is the new train that runs from Valencia to Madrid. It's pendolino type train that was brought in to replace the previous, outdated trains that ran this route. It's a short train, just three carriages in length, and has just 160 seats. The Alaris can reach speeds of up to 125mph.

What's it like travelling on an Alaris train?

Its pretty modern and comfortable, there's even a stewardess, but given that the service is now only 15 minutes cheaper than its predecessor, it has been a dissapointment for many. You also need to book in advance, as you may find it full. There is a snack bar on board, as well as a press service (?), and multimedia stations at the station.
