Trainhotel Elipsos overnight trains operate daily* between 5 of Europe's major cities, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Zurich and Milan, combining the advantages of train travel with the comforts of a hotel. Enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant car, before settling down for the night in your own sleeping compartment and then wake up refreshed the next day in your destination.
*Elipsos services operate daily during the summer. A reduced service is in operation during the winter.
How to book Elipsos trains...
Book the Tren Hotel online at the Rail Europe website. Choose Paris Gare d'Austerlitz as a starting point, to your chosen destination.
Note that if you are beginning your journey by Eurostar from the UK, it's best to book that separately, giving you more flexibility. Eurostar tickets can now be printed at home, while Rail Europe posts the Tren Hotel tickets to you securely using next-day special delivery.
Example Journey: London - Madrid
To reach Madrid by train, you need to take the Eurostar from London St. Pancras (or Ebbsfleet) to connect with the Trenhotel from Paris, which will involve transferring from Gare du Nord to Gare d'Austerlitz by Metro. There is a map attached to the right hand side of this page for you to plan the journey.
