Austrian Airlines is the National Airline, which flies to all airports in Austria, mainly from London Heathrow Airport in the UK. Fares are currently very competitive for direct bookers.

British Airways

British Airways (BA) have an agressive push on European flights and as most are from London Heathrow Airport, they are worth a look. They fly direct to Salzburg, Vienna and Innsbruck.

KLM fly from every single UK airport so you can effectively fly anywhere in Europe via Amsterdam Airport, saving lots of time driving as well as car parking in London. KLM fly to Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck.

BMI International Airlines

There is a daily direct service from London Heathrow Terminal 1 to Vienna.

Thomson Flights

Thomson Fly have direct flights to Salzburg all year round to cater for the extensive ski market of the area as well as the lakes and mountains holidays that they do in Austria. You can take flights direct from London Gatwick, Bournemouth, Coventry, Manchester, Doncaster and Sheffield to Salzburg.

TUIFly.com

TUIFly.com is a Germany - based airline that also has flights out of Birmingham, Manchester and Newscastle to Hanover, Stuttgart, and Bonn from where you might be able to change to get to Graz, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Linz.

German Wings

Owned and controlled my Lufthansa, German wings have an excellent service, that flies out of London Stansted, Edinburgh and Dublin, where you can fly to any of the four German Airports to connect to Vienna.

Air Berlin

You can fly to Vienna from London Stansted Airport with Air Berlin, but also to Salzburg and Linz from other European Airports. Air Berlin also from Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast.

Ryanair

Ryanair has hubs in Dublin, London Stansted and Frankfurt Hahn from where you can fly into Linz, Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Graz.

Sky Europe

With Sky Europe you can fly direct to Vienna from Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Nice, Barcelona, Pisa, Croatia, Greece and Cyprus.

Transavia

A Dutch low cost airline that flies to Vienna from Amsterdam direct.
