Corsica Ferries

Corsica Ferries sail to Corsica and Sardinia from ports in the south of France and in Italy. It has been trading for 40 years now, but most importantly the company has a robust environmental policy, which ensures that they limit their carbon emissisions and recycle all the waste from the ferries. An ecological festival called Festivu, is supported by Corsica Ferries.

From Which Italian Ports can I Sail to Corsica?

Corsican Ferries sail from Livorno and Savona.

On-Board Facilities
While on board the ferry you can use the restaurant where you can get dinner from about 8 Euro's. It's worth booking a cabin, they're really comfortable, quiet and well kept, but above all you will arrive at your destination feeling fresh. It's a good example of how a journey can become part of the holiday.

Choosing a Point of Departure
You have a few choices when it comes to ports, if you are coming from the UK you will probably want to travel from Nice, but if you are touring Italy you then have the option of Savona or Livorno.

E-Tickets
Bear in mind prior to booking that waiting for tickets through the post is unnecessary, as the ticket will be sent to you by email, which you can then print out.
