Brittany Ferries Official Site
The Brittany Ferries flagship is the MV Pont Aven, which is enormous. It can carry 2400 passengers, 650 cars, has 652 cabins. It was launched in 2004 and has since dramatically reduced sailing times between Roscoff and Caen. You can be on it for up to 24 hours if you are sailing to Santander, so they have laid on loads of features to keep you occupied on-board, in fact, its more of a floating holiday in itself these days. There is a large pool and leisure area, a live band plays every night, plus a DJ, Cinema's, and children's playroom.
In addition the company has two high speed ferries that sail from Portsmouth and Poole. They carry up to about 850 seated passengers at a time, plus with up to 235 cars. They operate from Mid-March to late September with crossing times of 180 minutes to Cherbourg and 225 minutes to Caen. Both have a non-smoking policy.
